One of my top priorities on our last trip to Disney World was to get a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant. I was really hoping for a lunch reservation because we had the free quick service dining plan, but I would have taken any reservation I could get. After going online daily and even calling a few times, we arrived to the Disney property with no reservation.
I had heard a rumor about a website that would allow guests to use a FastPass+ credit towards dining and I had tried that as well in my efforts to get a reservation, but when I tried to go to the site it asked for a code (which I did not have.) So I was disappointed, but still figured we could bite the bullet and wait in the loooooong line.
This is kind of how I felt about the outcome of my efforts:
We went about our vacation, leaving our dining options open. Then, on the second or third day of the trip, we got a magical email from Disney INVITING US TO USE FASTPASS+ FOR BE OUR GUEST!!!! I could not believe our luck and we immediately booked our reservation and menu selections online for lunch.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, knowing that the restaurant was used for both quick service (lunch) and table service (dinner) but I was excited just to walk across the bridge to get to the entrance of the castle.
With the FastPass+ we went straight to the front of the line and since we had already placed our order online when we booked the reservation, there was nothing to do but enter the castle and find a seat!
This meal was by far the best quick service I’ve had!! Here are some of the highlights:
There are 3 rooms to choose from for seating – the Ballroom, the West Wing, and the Rose Gallery. The Ballroom was beautiful gold, while the West Wing was dark and a little scary! We ate in the Rose Gallery, which had a huge rotating statue of Belle and Beast dancing in the center of the room.
The servers know where you sit – even though you seat yourself! I’m sure this has to do with the Magic Bands, but I don’t want to think too much about it and ruin the magic. We were served our meals on a rolling cart with a glass cover – definitely not what you’d expect from a quick service restaurant.
Even the self serve drink dispenser looked fancy!
The food was excellent – and we ate off of real dishes instead of paper plates! I had the Carved Turkey sandwich and my husband had the Croque Monsieur.
I loved every single aspect of this meal – the atmosphere, the decor, the food, and the price! I will definitely try to eat at Be Our Guest on a future trip – maybe for dinner next time!

Everyone should eat at BOG at least once, whether for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is really cool, with all of the amazing detail that was put into it. We ate lunch there and it was delicious. A really excellent dining experience, in my opinion.
I’ve managed to get in a few times: the grey stuff really is delicious.
We didn’t get any grey stuff…is it just for dinner?
It’s on the Master’s Cupcake. My sister also got a dish of it when we told them she had graduated.
I haven’t had lunch there yet but the two dinners I’ve had there have been amazing. Absolutely would recommend.
Secondly, in the event you can afford to own a home in an upscale golf course group you’d higher be prepared to pay
no matter it takes to maintain the complete integrity of the neighborhood, whether you play golf or not.
